He began his professional experience working for 6 years at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). He was co-founder of Integration Consulting, one of the leading consultancies in Latin America Management, where he worked for 12 years. In 2003, he was co-founder of a software company called XPLAN, which was sold to Neogrid in 2007. He has a Degree in Electrical Engineering, from Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.
